I was born in South Korea and pursued my passion for photography by majoring in Fashion Advertising Photography at Shingu University, a school known for its prestigious and historically rich photography program. After graduating, I moved to the UK, where I worked as a freelance photographer for two years. This experience broadened my creative perspective and allowed me to work within the dynamic fashion industry in Europe.

Upon returning to Korea, I spent five years honing my craft as an assistant photographer. This period was instrumental in shaping my skills and understanding the intricacies of professional photography at the highest level. After gaining substantial experience, I opened my own studio in Seoul, where I have been actively working ever since.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with a wide array of international fashion magazines, including Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, W, Esquire, Gq, Marie Claire, Arena, Cosmopolitan, Dazed, L’Officiel Hommes, and Nylon, as well as local Korean fashion magazines. I’ve worked on numerous editorial and advertising campaigns, often partnering with leading Korean celebrities and idols. My projects have ranged from high-fashion editorials to major fashion brand advertisements, allowing me to explore diverse creative avenues.

In addition to my work as a photographer, I served as the Photo Director for Grazia Korea for four years. This role allowed me to further develop my leadership and editorial vision. I also shared my expertise as a lecturer in the Modeling Department at Dongguk University, where I enjoyed mentoring the next generation of talent.

With a deep passion for fashion and photography, I continually strive to push creative boundaries and deliver compelling visual narratives. I am eager to continue growing as a photographer and contributing to the ever-evolving world of fashion and visual art.
